Quinnen Williams, a talented defensive tackle, had seen enough. It was clear he sought a new place of employment after playing seven seasons with the New York Jets. The Cowboys were trying to obtain Williams before the start of the 2025 season but were rebuffed by Jets team owner Woody Johnson.

The Jets were involved in the two biggest deals ahead of Tuesday afternoon’s trade deadline and General Manager Darren Mougey held a press conference to discuss the deals after the deadline passed.

A proposed trade between the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens would ship off superstar Quinnen Williams for a first round pick.
