Wrong-way ATV crash on I-55 in Joliet leaves one dead, police say
An ATV driver was killed over the weekend after traveling the wrong way on Interstate 55 in Joliet, authorities said.
State police said troopers tried to safely stop the operator when it became involved in a crash with a car on I-55 southbound north of Black Road.
The rider of an ATV was killed after allegedly driving the wrong-way crash on I-55 in the south suburbs, Illinois State Police said.
