Domestic airlines have announced its policies for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) cuts to flights across the nation.

Travelers in Minnesota will face disruptions as a federal government shutdown affects flights at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

"This is about where’s the pressure and how do we alleviate the pressure," Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.

FAA officials announced Wednesday that they would soon detail specific reductions to take effect as of early Friday, but by 6 p.m. on Thursday, federal aviation officials had yet to share specific plans with major U.S. airports, giving them little time to make adjustments, said Kevin Burke, the president and CEO of ACI-NA.
