On Monday night, designated hitter Kyle Schwarber was named a finalist for the National League MVP Award, while Cristopher Sánchez was named a finalist for the NL Cy Young Award. Phillies manager Rob Thomson was also named a finalist for the NL Manager of the Year Award.
